Estimated Engineering Rank Range
2,397 – 3,243
for 80 / 160 marks · midpoint ≈ 2,820 · ±15% band applied
At this rank, colleges like GRIET and JNTUH Kukatpally are realistic for CSE, and CBIT / VNR for IT.
Data: TS EAPCET 2026 counselling (final phase), sourced from official TGCHE/college data — indicative, verify with official counselling (tgeapcet.nic.in) before locking web options.
TG EAPCET is conducted in multiple shifts, so TGCHE converts raw marks to normalized marks and assigns ranks from those. Every year TGCHE publishes a marks-vs-rank band width document — for 2026, roughly 140–160 marks covered ranks 1–706, ~100 marks landed near rank 2,100, ~80 marks near rank 2,800, ~65 marks near rank 9,200, and 40–49 marks stretched from ~44,000 all the way past 1.3 lakh. We interpolate linearly between those anchor points and show a ±15% band, because your exact position inside a band depends on session difficulty and tie-breaks.
Remember: the rank is common for all categories — your category changes which college cutoffs apply to you, not your rank. OC/BC candidates must score ≥ 40/160 to be ranked; SC/ST candidates are ranked with no minimum.

Open →It interpolates over the official TGCHE normalization marks-vs-rank band data for TG EAPCET 2026 plus previous-year (2025) trends, and shows a generous ±15% range instead of a single number. Actual rank depends on session normalization and how many candidates appear, so treat the range as a planning tool, not a guarantee.
For OC category in the last counselling, CSE closed around rank 1,400–1,600 at OU and CBIT, ~1,800 at VNR VJIET, ~2,300 at Vasavi and ~4,500–5,500 at GRIET, JNTUH, CVR and MGIT. Reservation-category (BC/SC/ST) last ranks go significantly deeper. Roughly, 100+ marks put you in that zone.
For OC and BC candidates, the qualifying mark is 25% of 160 — i.e., 40 marks. For SC and ST candidates there is NO minimum qualifying mark: every SC/ST candidate who appears is assigned a rank.
No. TS EAPCET is held in multiple sessions, so your raw marks are converted to normalized marks, and your rank comes from those normalized marks — not from a percentile like JEE Main. Two students with the same raw marks in different sessions can get slightly different ranks.
No. The old 25% IPE weightage was scrapped — the TG EAPCET rank is now computed purely from your normalized entrance-exam marks. IPE marks only matter for eligibility (passing MPC) and for tie-breaking scenarios.
